Blipoint, is a social network where photographers, illustrators and graphic designers, both amateurs and professionals, have a free space to manage their work free of charge, an intelligent platform that provides users with all the elements necessary to be connected inside the world of photography, illustration and vanguardist art. Our purpose is to spread the word about your work and, with this purpose in mind, we have developed a system that facilitates image searches in an easy, rapid and secure way for our users.
Members of the Blipoint community come from more than 132 different countries; photographers, illustrators, and graphic designers, both amateur and professional. In Blipoint you will be able to experience the vision of creative people at the global level, interact with their published images, and connect with the world of photography and the avant-garde. In real time you will have information in your profile regarding the images, comments, and activities that your friends in the Blipoint community have published.
BLIPOINT CONTESTS: Periodically we organise diverse contests, where blipoint members publish their images representing the published subjects. We have a prestigious panel of judges at our disposal made up of professionals from the worlds of photography and graphic arts. There are three types of contests:
Gallery contests: We differ from the rest of the social networks in that we give our members the opportunity to showcase their work in the artistic spaces of avant-garde cities. The winners that participate in this gallery contests section will be able to exhibit their images as a prize. Blipoint carries out all of the organization of the exhibition, its set up, its coverage in different media, and also provides printed material to announce the exhibition. We also film a video and take photos of the inauguration, have a cocktail to open the exhibition, and give a certificate to the winners. In the finished contests section you can see photos and videos of all of the past exhibitions. We give all of those artists in the photography, illustration, and graphic design sectors the opportunity to enter the art world and make their works known.
Online contests: We have the support of manufacturers and companies in the photography and graphic arts worlds, which participate as sponsors of our online contests. All of those members that publish their images participating in the different subjects, and are chosen as winners will receive products from the photography and graphic arts sectors as prizes.
Premium Contests: We have created this prestigious contest section, where the two concepts of gallery and online contests come together. The winners exhibit their images in the art spaces of avant-garde cities; we also publish books with the winning images, and award items from the world of photography as well as cash prizes.

• You can sell your images directly to the final client in a quick, safe way: Faster because we arrange the direct sale of your images with the final client, we have the best technology in our system to offer you the greatest security for all of your published images, and we carry out a campaign in diverse media so that your publications are showcased. The more images that you upload to your galleries and the better identified they are, the greater your possibilities of making a sale.
• Show your images in better resolution: Your images should be visualized adapting themselves to the resolution of each monitor and navigator, allowing a better visualization of your published images.
• The moment that your image galleries are published, the system will recognize each one’s metadata: The correct publication of your images allows them to be catalogued and identified, with the main purpose for this being that all of our potential clients can easily and directly find all of the images in our search engine. The procedures described here meet the global standards of news photography and IPTC regulations, is the International Press Telecommunications Council. Made up of the world’s main news agencies, newspaper editors, and other suppliers in the news sector, it’s in charge of the development and maintenance of standard techniques used for practically all of the main organizations dedicated to disseminating news around the entire world.
• You can personalize your own link: In this way you will be easily found in the search engines. Please note that once you have created your link, example: http://gallery.blipoint.com/lilianacastillo/, you will not be able to change it. You must be sure of the word or name that you want to use.
• You can be added as a favourite artist: Premium users’ images will stand out on the home page, their profile will be more visible within the listing of users, and they can also be selected as favourite artists.
• My invoices (payment process), within a Premium user’s profile, you can find the “my invoices” section, which includes the sales and invoices record.
